We search out the finest bow hair available worldwide, and use that on every bow we rehair. Depending on our workload, we may need from two work days up to a week; usually we will have a loaner bow available if you need one. If you have an emergency and need faster turnaround than we quote, we will try to accommodate you; when you tell us you need it sooner, we will tell you whether there will be a charge to expedite the work (usually only when we have a high volume of repair orders and/or expedited repair orders). We have to charge more for expedited work because it will not "bump" other repairs down the line; we'll spend the extra work time to do both.
If within a month any problem develops with one of our bow rehairs, we will fix the problem at no charge to you (excluding, of course, normal wear-and-tear or damage or failure from improper handling or treatment of the bow after it left our shop).
Unless we have called to tell you that the rehairing is completed, please contact us before coming to pick it up, to be sure that the work is completed. We do our best to have the work ready within the time estimate, but with so many variables, that is not always possible.
